We are excited about our first Christian Life Conference at Calvary Chapel! I know each of us are seeking to grow deeper in Christ every day! This two session conference with our speaker David Shirley is a way to enhance our walk with Christ and grow deeper in Him!   

Please take the time to attend and receive a great encouragement from the teaching and the fellowship of the saints! Saturday night, April 23rd we will be fed in body and spirit as we gather for a special love feast and then a teaching by David Shirley and then we will gather Sunday morning for worship and the Word again with David.

David and Linda Shirley met at Columbia Bible College, now CIU, and were married in 1973. He graduated CBC, 1974, and received a Masters in Education from USC, 1976. He taught school at Columbia Christian School for two years, then moved to Fayetteville, NC. David was the founding Pastor of a Calvary Chapel and Fayetteville Christian Schools. David was the Pastor there from 1978 to 1998. he and Linda moved to London, where he was asked to start Calvary Chapel Bible College, London, which was moved to York, England in the fall of 2000. From 2000 – 2021 he was Vice President and Director of Calvary Chapel Bible College, Murrieta, Ca. During that time he also was the pastor of Calvary Chapel Hot Springs.

David and Linda now live in Wilmington, NC, and the important part of the bio is that they are “saved by grace through faith,” and are “God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works.”  We will be greatly strengthened, challenged and encouraged by David’s teaching and our coming apart to seek the Lord!
